Frontier Co-op Packaged Spices

Frontier Co-op sought to reposition their brand in response to increased pressure from competitors and retailers’ private label offerings. Their branding was dated and failing to capture attention on shelf and communicate the brand’s core values of quality and product expertise.

The resulting redesign was an entirely new look that conveyed a “farmers’ market” feel with the use of a chalkboard-like background and colorful, custom hand-drawn illustrations. Each label was individually illustrated to communicate its unique attributes and convey the quality and care that goes into each product.

Aura Cacia Essential Oils

Aura Cacia’s essential oil redesign had several goals: create easier sku identification, communicate a visual aesthetic of wellness, educate the end user, and reinforce the benefits and botanical nature of the product.

The redesigned message hierarchy focused on a much easier to read and identify sku name, and the addition of an illustrated botanical element helped reinforce the natural origin of the product. To educate consumers on the use of essential oils, a peel-back expandable label was introduced that included usage tips, recipes and a dilution and safety guide.
